I always find it so hard writing about my mom, I feel there are no words that can truly express just how wonderful and amazing she is. She is a giver, she has devoted most of her life to taking care of others. She raised four children and for 25 yrs she did foster care and ran a full time home daycare, worked at a flower shop, sewed most of our clothes and most of my dolls, bedding, curtains, you name it she could sew it. She was and is amazing at photography, I remember many afternoons during the summer my mom would be outside tending to her flower gardens and afterwards spending hours photographing them. Her prints were beautiful and of course all film, she is finally picking up on the whole digital photography and really enjoying it. When she retired from foster care and daycare, we moved to a different home so she could care full time for my great grandmother, which wasn't an easy task, but she did it! and her mother fell ill with ALS and she cared for her as well, with the amazing help of her siblings. She is finally able to put herself first and I am so thankful for that, I don't know how she did what she did. I would be so happy to be half the women she is. She has taught me so many wonderful things, I couldn't have asked for a better mother and now best friend. I LOVE You Mom, thanks for being my model on less than a minute's notice, you're the best!

Perfectly said Kim....we only met your Mother once but everything you just spoke of I could feel within her that wonderful day we spent with you & her! She has this beautiful & gentle presence about her and she radiates such L-O-V-E. We feel very honored to have met her and hope to visit with her again very soon. And don't ever underestimate yourself Kim....you ARE following in her amazing footsteps....you could really see your connection that day and feel your affection for one another. Maybe sometime I can capture your Mother/Daughter bond in my lense! Please give a hug to your Mother from us or as we call her "the baby whisperer" and tell her to give one back to you from us xoxox
