The Creek

Near my house there is this little hidden creek, you have to venture through small trails to get to it.
It's amazing, the mossy trees, the flowing water, the birds singing, it is nature at it's best.
A photographers dream location to say the least. Especially when the sun shines in and lights it up,
you feel like you are in a story book, like this can't be real.
Of course wouldn't you know it 20 minutes before this session the clouds rolled in and it looked
like rain was not far behind. I was so close to rescheduling the session because
the sun really does wonders in this location.
But then I thought I could try some darker more moody photography which I never do.
There's something about moody grainy pictures that I have grown to love.
I don't know if they just seem more real, or you can feel a whole package of different
emotions when looking at the pictures. I enjoyed the change, but hope to get back there
when the suns out before winter sets in.
Thank you to my beautiful models Deanna and her daughter Britta, you girls are amazing!

Chris and Dannalee

It was such a beautiful evening spent photographing these two. We had to postpone this
session a few times due to heavy cloud coverage. So glad we waited for a sunny day,
it just adds a little bit of golden magic. I could hardly wait to have Dannalee in front of
my camera again and to meet Chris. They are so perfect together and I can hardly wait
for their wedding next summer. After hearing about all the details I just know
it's going to be AMAZING. So much thought and planning has already gone
into it and I style I truly love. Congratulations you guys, thank you so much
for making the long drive to Rainy River. xoxo
