A Traditional Ojibwe Wedding

Both Dan and Jennifer are photographers in the area, Jennifer contacted me and asked if I would be their photographer at their wedding. Gosh I was so nervous to say yes, but thought it would be fun to hang out with two other photographers for the day. Then she told me they were having a traditional Ojibwe wedding and I was so excited. She explained how she had been planning this wedding for over a year and was doing all the bead work her self. When I finally got to see what she had been so busy working on I was totally blown away. She is so talented and is a very gifted artist. All the details were so perfectly done. The ceremony was pure magical, so loving and tender. I loved the songs and the drums, it gave me chills, it was that amazing. I am so thrilled that I got to be apart of this and witness this unique event. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day, I wish you both so much happiness in your life together.
